If you're an active student who likes to take advantage of every opportunity, we invite you to apply for our Student Representative Scholarship program.

The merit-based scholarships provide engaged and enthusiastic students with financial assistance and opportunities to participate in exclusive activities to enhance their Australian study experience.

What do Macquarie University Student Representative Scholarships cover?

As an ambassador for Study Abroad at Macquarie, you'll receive a tuition scholarship valued at AU$1000 and participate in exclusive activities to enhance your Australian study experience.

During the program, you'll have the opportunity to

  • Receive your very own Samsung Tablet and GoPro camera to document your time at Macquarie.

  • Learn from experts in our Careers Service, Alumni Relations and marketing teams.
  • Be profiled in Macquarie's newsletter The Globe.
  • Take part in professional photo shoots.

You'll also be enrolled in our Global Leadership Program and receive a special certificate acknowledging you as a Student Representative Scholarship holder.

Student Representative Scholarships do not provide financial support for a living allowance, cost of a visa application, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), airfares, accommodation, conferences or other costs associated with study.

These scholarships are not available to students studying at Macquarie City Campus or the Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT).

Student Representative Scholarships are a single scholarship and are not able to be renewed.

When choosing courses to enrol in, keep in mind that some courses have prerequisites to ensure you're ready for study in that area. Check the list of restricted units for Study Abroad students.
